Types of Therapy

No two people are the same, and therapy shouldn’t be either. I draw from several evidence-based approaches, such as person-centered therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and others depending on what fits best for you.


For example, if you're needing a space to feel heard and understood, we might focus on building trust and exploring your story through a more relational, person-centered approach. If you're feeling stuck in unhelpful thought patterns or behaviors, we may integrate tools from CBT to increase awareness and develop new coping strategies. If emotion regulation or interpersonal stress is a challenge, we might use DBT skills to help you navigate those moments more effectively.


We'll always collaborate on what feels helpful and move at a pace that feels right for you. Therapy is most effective when it honors your unique experiences, strengths, and goals, and that's exactly how we'll approach our work together.
